Lawanda-
No, it's not too nosy. I took b.c. before and when I was done, said I never would again. I guess never say never.

My body has been a chemical dumping ground my whole life. It seems that you are more like a guinea pig, they never know if something is going to work for you until you try it.

And everything, EVERYTHING has a side effect.

When do I stop being me?

Anyway, these pills entering my body couldn't be any worse than the pain I have to endure, right? So its worth a try.

Really I have a good attitude about it, its just that I'm way past being excited about it.

Thanks for asking.

Gracie-
He perscribed some potassium supplements but I have been lazy about taking them.

He also perscribed the low-oxalate diet and I have fallen off the wagon with that. He has some medication that will help but until I get my new migraine meds squared away I don't want to start something new like that. It's important to know what's causing side effects.

Did you end up in the hospital? Did you get lithotripsy? Thank God for morphine and percocet! hallelujah!

Woah baby! Worse than childbirth without drugs huh?!

a year and a half ago I had an x-ray that said no stones, this october only 6 days after flying home from seeing my dying Grandma I land in the hospital. low and behold I did have them. The radiologist missed two stones, then I was up to about 8. Fished two out, pushed one back in and lithotripsied the rest.

After that I passed 18 small pieces but nothing since then, since first of Nov. Everyone keeps asking me, but right now I'm fine. They are on a vacation I tell them! ha!

I am going to Thailand in June so they better not come back then!

I have another x-ray and appt. next month so I will see what is going on. I'm not digging the low oxalate thing. I like peanut butter and chocolate too much. I could live without rhubarb and beans, well maybe not baked beans! ha!

Swapping stone stories is like swapping childbirth stories huh?! I'd deliver a baby anyday!
